Yes, Dr. Son Young-woo personally conducts all consultations and procedures. The consultation, treatment, and follow-up care are all carried out by the same dentist.

Please let us know at the time of booking if you would like a same-day procedure, and we will accommodate you if your case is suitable. Even if you do not mention it in advance, we will proceed on the same day if the schedule allows. Please note, however, that having a procedure done on the same day is different from recovering on the same day — recovery time will be explained separately for each treatment.

English consultations are available. We are a registered foreign patient care facility (Registration No. M-2022-01-05-6703), and from January to June 2026, patients visited us from 25 countries.

Even within Gummy Smile, the causes vary — gum tissue, lip muscles, or the underlying bone — and the appropriate treatment differs accordingly. At New York Yonsei Dental Clinic, we first identify the cause and then guide patients toward the most suitable treatment.

On weekdays, we are open from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with extended evening hours until 9:00 PM on Wednesdays. On Saturdays, we are open from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. We are closed on Sundays and public holidays. Lunch break is from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM.

You can use the building's automated parking facility free of charge for up to one hour. Please note that due to the mechanical nature of the system, parking may be difficult for larger vehicles such as SUVs.

We operate on an appointment-only basis, so walk-in visits may result in a long wait. If you make a reservation in advance, we will be happy to see you at your preferred time.

We do not offer orthodontic treatment. Dr. Son Young-woo personally provides Gum Contouring, Lip Repositioning, Teeth Whitening, Dental Implant, and prosthetic treatments.

He graduated from Yonsei University College of Dentistry and completed his master's degree at New York University (NYU) College of Dentistry. He subsequently earned his doctoral degree in Prosthodontics from Yonsei University.

He is an active member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Korean Academy of Prosthodontics, and the Korean Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Implantology.

There is nothing special you need to prepare. We begin by taking a panoramic X-ray and assessing your current condition through a clinical examination.

Absolutely. We will walk you through our findings using your X-ray images and a mirror, and you decide what, if anything, you would like to proceed with.
