충치의 범위와 남은 치아의 양으로 갈립니다. 검진과 엑스레이로 확인한 뒤 어느 쪽인지 말씀드립니다.
레진 치료는 하루에 끝나나요?
레진은 그 자리에서 채우므로 당일 한 번으로 끝납니다.
인레이나 크라운은 몇 번 와야 하나요?
본을 뜨는 날과 장착하는 날, 총 두 번입니다. 사이 간격은 약 일주일입니다.
어떤 재료를 쓰시나요?
인레이는 라바(LAVA) 인레이를 사용하고, 크라운은 지르코니아와 PFM을 사용합니다.
충치치료도 건강보험이 되나요?
Cavity treatment is covered under National Health Insurance. Some cases may not be covered depending on the material and extent of treatment.
Is it normal to feel sensitivity after treatment?
Some sensitivity may remain for a while after treatment. Please let us know if it persists or if you feel pain when chewing.
Can cavities on front teeth be treated without it being noticeable?
Resin and inlay are tooth-colored materials, so they can be used on front teeth and other visible areas.
Will it hurt during treatment?
Treatment is performed under anesthesia. A topical anesthetic spray is applied first, followed by a powered anesthetic device and a 30G needle.
Is parking available on the day of treatment?
The building's mechanical parking lot is free for the first hour, and 5,000 won per 30 minutes thereafter. As it is a cylindrical mechanical parking system, SUVs cannot be accommodated, so we will direct you to a nearby paid parking lot.
I have multiple cavities — can they all be treated at once?
We first assess the extent of the cavities through an examination and X-rays. We will then advise you on how many sessions are needed and in what order, based on the results.
Can I eat normally between the impression appointment and the fitting appointment?
A temporary filling will be placed during that period, so eating should not be a major issue. If the temporary filling falls out, please do not leave it as is — contact us right away.
Can a filled tooth decay again?
The filling material itself does not decay, but if food accumulates along the margins, decay can progress underneath. That is why regular check-ups are necessary even after treatment.
I only feel sensitivity to cold water — is this a cavity?
It may be cervical abrasion rather than a cavity. We will determine which it is after an examination and X-rays.
What happens if the decay has reached the nerve?
Root canal treatment is performed first, followed by covering the tooth with a crown. This is because the inside of the tooth becomes hollow and weakened against biting forces.
Can decay between teeth be seen with the naked eye?
Decay between and inside teeth is not determined by visual inspection alone. We will confirm it through an examination and X-rays before advising you.
Treatment outcomes and the longevity of restorations vary depending on biting habits and how well they are maintained.
